Typically, the minimum winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money increasing for each better hand. A list of common winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It definitely goes without saying that the payout schedule can range from game to game, so that experienced gamblers are agile enough to pick the most profitable game every time.
As soon as the initial round has finished, the player can either choose to stay on in an attempt to increase their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any money that they may have won. Further, some versions of the game give the enthusiast an opportunity to increase their profits, in which situation a further round is played. There are also variations between individual machines, with some decks of cards having wild cards and other differing characteristics to enhance playability.
