Video Poker is a favored game that can be wagered on in casinos throughout the world, or alternatively at home on your computer, using a web connection. The regulations are very simple and consist of the player trying to achieve the greatest assemblage of cards as you can in order to acquire money. On this account it is much the same as a regular game of poker, apart from the interaction with other players. Of course, methods used in a physical game of poker, like tricking, will be irrelevant here.
The game of Video Poker starts when the enthusiast inserts credits (either tokens, tickets or cash) into the machine and presses the draw button. A hand of five cards will then be "distributed" on the screen.

Normally, the minimum winning hand on a Video Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money growing for each better hand. A list of common winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to 2 pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It is obvious that the payment schedule can range from machine to machine, so that experienced gamblers are able to choose the most beneficial machine every instance.
As soon as the initial round has completed, the player can either decide to continue on and try to to increase their winnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any cash that has been won. Additionally, several styles of the game allow the gambler a chance to double their wins, in which instance a further game is played. There are also variations among specific machines, with some decks of cards having wild cards and other differing characteristics to enhance playability.
