Video Poker is a popular game that can be gambled on in casinos around the globe, or alternatively at your house on your PC, through a web account. The game rules are absolutely simple and consist of the player attempting to achieve the highest assemblage of cards possible in order to acquire money. On this account it’s much the same as a regular game of poker, without the line of contact with other players. Of course, methods employed during a physical game of poker, such as tricking, will be useless in Video Poker.
The game of Electronic Poker starts when the bettor puts credits (either tokens, credit slips or cash) into the video poker machine and presses the play button. A hand of 5 cards will then be electronically ‘given out’ on the screen.

After the gambler has selected which cards he or she wishes to keep, the player will then press ‘draw’, which will mean that any fresh cards will be needed they will be dealt. The game is now completed, with the Video Poker machine analyzing the cards to see if it matches any of the winning hands listed in the pay out schedule.
Normally, the minimum winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money increasing for each better hand. A list of common winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to 2 pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It should be known that the payout schedule can range from game to game, so that skillful gamblers are agile enough to select the most money-making machine each instance.
As soon as the initial round has played out, the player can either decide to continue on in an attempt to increase their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any money that they may have won. Further, several versions of the game give the bettor an opportunity to increase their winnings, in which case a further hand is played. There are also differences among specific machines, with some decks of cards including wild cards and other differing aspects to enhance playability.
