Love to wager on electronic poker machines? Step into any betting house in Sin City and 1 item you will immediately observe is that the casinos spend a lot of floor space on machines. Much of that layout goes to Video Poker. If you have wagered on Video Poker for any amount of time, you realize that not all video poker machines were created the same. As time has gone by, more and more "unique" video poker games have come into being. At this time, I am going to share some of my Video Poker tricks, I belief you will like them.

Trick One: Locating a good machine

Finding a good machine is as easy as observing the payment schedule. You actually want to keep away from unique pay games that have bigger top pay outs, but negate the smaller pay outs. e.g., a game might pay a little more on 4 of a kind, but might pay a lot less on two pair, flushes and full houses. Since you will rack up smaller scale payouts often, mainly because of the chance of acquiring these hands, you want a good lower scale pay out system.

Tip 2: Wagering strategy

Figuring out how to play optimally is a must. Your playing technique will, in the long run, determine your typical return and your final cash value. Knowing what action to take in a situation where you have, for example, 2 Kings, but four to the flush is essential. Do you hold the Kings and the assured money or toss the dice for the difficult to get flush? Competing on a good game with a good strategy will provide you a great chance to win money over the long haul.

Trick Three: It’s random

Over the years, I have watched folks play Video Poker in Las Vegas employing all kinds of superstitious actions. Some will just use cold coins to bet, some will hit the buttons extra hard, some will hit the machine with their money before playing and the list just keeps going. Every hand is built by a RNG. The moment you begin to bet, the hand is set in stone. The game will at random pick all the cards from a deck and hand them out.

Hint 4: There is Absolutely no memory

This is a big one. Most players think that if they start to see hands with three of a kind, 4 to the royal and so on that the better hands are due any moment. This is simply incorrect. As clarified in tip 3, the process uses a RNG to build the hands. The system has no memory. It doesn’t have knowledge that you have not had a full house in 400 hands or that you just had three, 4 of a kind hands in sequence. It is probable you could go 100k hands without a four of a kind and it is plausible to get 10 in a row. The machine doesn’t track, because at the end of it all, the numbers work out.

I hope these pointers have assisted you to blossom as an electronic Poker player. Myths on how the game functions can be a lot more deadly than merely playing incorrectly. I have seen gamblers spend (and lose) a multitude of dollars on a video poker machine simply because they thought the machine had a memory and was "due" to hit. Don’t become trapped like this. Be aware that Video Poker is just luck and must be played correctly. Now, go enjoy yourself.
